Charlie flipped through her favourite websites on her phone for the 3rd time that morning, not paying attention. She glanced up at her computer screen and checked the time, 11:14. Still the better part of two hours until her lunch break. Usually, by this time she'd barely had a chance to check her Twitter feed, but today was dragging. Oh sure there’d be quite days before, but she'd never had a day where there were no appointments before. She preferred it when the work was steady, as it stopped her mind idly wandering to how she was going to murder her ex. Not that she had any moral objection to say, sluicing up the cheating bastard’s stomach and using his entrails as a jump rope, but she was intelligent enough to realise that just because she watched a lot of crime documentaries and drama series on Netflix didn’t mean she had any chance of getting away with it. I mean they used police consultants for these crimes and they usually ended up getting caught. Though that may be worth it
